Putting up the Tree 2008
We put up the tree tonight. Keegan really enjoyed helping and did almost ALL the decorations on the tree. We put up very limited Christmas ornaments with a little one in the house again. And we definitely put on our "security" jingle bells. They ring beautifully when anyone or anycat is messing, I mean admiring the tree.

Putting up the tree always brings back fond memories of how we got it. Chad & I went to several different stores to find the perfect tree for our expanding family. Oh yeah, I was 8 months pregnant with Keegan at the time. I was a tad large. But we found the perfect tree, and I really enjoy it! The lights twinkle!!
Katie really enjoyed the tree as well! Keegan knows that the tree means that Santa is getting ready to come, but I think Katie just enjoyed it for it's lights.

MOPS Pie Baking 2008
Every year our MOPS group has an annual fund raiser. We bake pies. It does really well, and usually can fund our next year of MOPS. Thus, making it a success! The other thing, is that baking pies with such a great group of women is really just so much fun!! Usually, in the past, I would stay all day and help. This year, that was not a possibility. But we were able to help for a couple of hours.

The UPC symbol hidden between our two faces is from a box of Chocolate pudding that she fell in love with and dared not part with...

Busy Sunday
Today Katie went to our church for the first time. She really enjoyed the music and singing (she would clap her hands), but when it came to be quiet, she felt she had something to say. So we went up in the "cry room" so she could speak freely without disturbing others.
She also watched her first Cowboys game! Not really sure you can have any better day!!
Mei Tai Baby Wrap
I have gotten alot of compliments/questions regarding the baby carrier I used in China. I used in China ALOT!!! I absolutely loved it and it was very comfortable. When I got home I washed it, and it looks good as new! I bought it off of Etsy.com. The store was Anna Carrie Baby, and she has several to choose from. If you really liked mine, here is the direct link to it.
I had taken two types of carriers, a sling and the mei tai. Katie was not a fan of the sling at first. She went straight as a board, and wouldn't go in it. The mei tai she really enjoyed, and it was easy to pack. I also feel as though it aided in our bonding. The reason I bought the mei tai was because of another blog I follow called Adventures in Babywearing. She is extremely helpful, very nice, and will answer questions you send her way.

Katie's First MOPS meeting
Today was Katie's first MOPS meeting. She did great!! She stayed in the nursery for about an hour. She was playing and having a good time! Then some of the other babies started crying and it made her sad. So I came and got her. I know this, because I checked on her several times. ;-)

Keegan made some AWESOME art. Had to share...

Third Day - Doctor's Visit

This was on the way home, our layover in MSP. She was in the middle of eating a snack.Katie & I went to visit the Dr. today. It went really well, and he was very pleased with her. He just kept telling me that she's really small. We go back in two weeks. We also have a long grocery list of tests to be run, which require the drawing of blood. They need so much blood, we have to do it in two different trips. Hopefully two, and not three!
Keegan & Katie are doing awesome together! They love each other very much and it is really sweet to watch. I've included some pictures of the two of them raiding the pantry...
