Keegan and his food

So Keegan follows after his Mama on trying some "interesting" combinations. (My friends from DCI know what I'm talking about!) Some of his favorite meals right now are mini corndogs, broccoli, and mandarin oranges. He also really enjoys hotdogs and pancakes at dinnertime. Breaking out of the box, he has requested bagel with strawberry cream cheese with CocoLoco (cocopuffs) on top. He likes peanut butter with honey sandwiches, like the Berenstain Bears. And he also used to really enjoy making "Volcano's". I would make ramen noodles. Pile them like a volcano on his plate, put broccoli around the base (rocks), apples along the sides (molten lava), and the absolutely necessary gummy dinosaurs. He really enjoyed making those. Attached are some pictures...

Chuck E. Cheese Visit

We have started "Reward" and "Consequences" jars. We keep track of Keegan doing his responsibilties for the week. Keegan did really well last week, so he got to choose from the Reward jar. He picked a trip to Chuck E. Cheese. He asked really nicely this morning if he could get his reward today. So we took him. Here are some pics from there!

Trip to the Zoo

Keegan & I met some MOPS Mamas at the Zoo on Thursday morning. It sprinkled on us off and on, but overall it was a REALLY fun trip!! We rode the carousal, went to the Children's Zoo, saw the new DINOSAUR exhibit(!), and rode the train. Animals?? What animals?? There's animals at the zoo??

Funny Keegan Story

Wanted to share a funny Keegan story. We went to Target on Saturday. We were all getting out of the car and heading in, and for some reason Chad started to say, "This..." And Keegan just pipped in, "is American Idol!" It was sooo funny! Had to share!

Cheese!!!!

One of the ways we bribe our child to take a bath. (Shouldn't he want to be clean???) Yes, ice cream is an all time favorite bribery tool in the Irish household. Should I even comment on the Gilbert Gottfried smile?? Let's hope it's a phase...

Keegan Today...

Keegan with his "little brother" Rusty. They adore each other!

The suspense ended on how we came up with our blog name...

Inspired by one of our favorite onsies from when Keegan was a baby.
