Once upon a time The Mama was listening to her music. Her two loyal royal subjects asked politely if they could watch TV. The Mama told them, "Not right now, I'm listening to music." To this response her youngest loyal royal subject came and sat by The Mama on the sofa. (The Mama may have been on her computer 'working'.) The youngest loyal royal subject, Princess, leans in and quietly says, "Pony?" She then looks over at the other loyal royal subject, Prince, who is playing nicely on the floor. Looks back at The Mama, puts her finger to her mouth and says, "ssshhhhhh." This cracked a smile on The Mama's face. So Princess leans in closer and says again quietly, "Pony", and using her eyes as if to say when we turn on the TV it
will be Pony. It was very polite, firm, and on the down-low. To seal the deal and butter The Mama up even more, the Princess shared some of her snack and The Mama was given lots of kisses. What could The Mama do, but grab her computer (which may or may not have already been in her lap) and document the entire story.
Princess is referring to her My*Little*Pony movie, "Twinkle*Wish*Adventure". We watch T*W*A at least once a day, usually more. Princess is a
BIG fan of the movie. Poor Prince is
not any longer a fan of the movie. He has said out loud that he wished Princess would scratch
that movie up so that we don't have to watch it anymore. Mama explained to Prince that there were a couple movies that Prince required us to watch
several times. Prince won't hear it. He's here in the now, and not lovin' the pony movie.
So as the story comes to end, The Mama is still listening to her music and about to go fold laundry. The Prince and Princess are playing quietly and happily in the living room
without the TV on.
WOW - this is sounding like a fairytale, huh??
