Well, it was actually a year on November 2nd. I'm a little behind, but don't worry, I'm getting used to it! It is so funny that it has been a year since Katie has joined our family! Sometimes, I feel like it's only been a year she's been with us, and other times, it's already been a year?? I don't think it's the really the time frame of her joining our family, because, frankly I feel like she has always been with our family. I think mostly it is the 'big' trip. I really miss China, and our family really looks forward to going back. We have tentatively set a return date for 5-7 years, whereas Keegan has informed us that he is going to spend his own money and buy a gong. Awesome!
To celebrate the day, I asked Katie what she would like for dinner. I thought I would let her pick for her special day. She chose. Seriously, you are not going to believe this. She chose meatballs and french fries. Yes she did! With LOTS of ketchup (which I am still trying to get out of her clothes!) But she was happy and enjoyed her dinner!

It's perfect!
Everyone carrying their own pumpkin...
Katie insisted on carrying her own. She would not let anyone help.
